some quilts for friends

I have two friends who work in the school system and have offices so I created these cheerful wallhangings to help cheer them up through the winter

Daniel and Carley

They got married this summer and I made them this quilt. They have it in their new Australian home. Aliya is in the back, the Old Mrs Seward is in the front left, the New Mrs Seward in the back left and Daniel on the right.

Kayla's Quilt

Although I gave this to Kayla before her August birthday, I hadn't posted a picture yet. She loves her puppies and now she can cuddle with them.

I suggested to David he make a lamp using some scrap wood and animals on a base. This is what he came up with. It came out very cute.

baby fun

I am having a ball making baby stuff. This is a log cabin in an around the world setting, and I designed all types of animals and appliqued them on. Of course I can't rotate the pic but you get the idea.

I also did a pile of bibs.

cat quilt

I collected a bunch of cat fabrics and made this magic tiles quilt. A little different from what I usually do.

A new quilt for my bed

I was part of a block exchange several years ago, and used those blocks along with many I made to create this quilt. It is super warm, a good thing as it has snowed for days here and will continue to snow for days.
Most of the fabrics are hand dyed and have batik patterns.
